CARLO GAVAZZI is pleased to announce the launch of our new Capacitive Proximity Sensors with Integrated IO-Link communications. Building upon our existing range of sensors, these new sensors are housed in durable AISI316L stainless steel housings or PTFE Teflon housings for high chemical resistance.

Based on our 4th generation TRIPLESHIELD™ sensors, the CA18 and the CA30 Series sensors represent the ideal solution for industrial automation equipment in applications where the sensing performance needs to be constantly and accurately monitored and logged.

Besides the full range of technical features provided by our capacitive sensor families, the IO-Link communication mode enables additional advanced functionalities such as: QoR (Quality of Run), QoT (Quality of Teach) and diagnostic parameters. With IO-Link each sensor becomes fully programmable and customizable, allowing more than half a million setting combinations.

CARLO GAVAZZI has launched the MC36C Series Compact Safety Magnetic Sensors, designed for safety-related applications, such as the monitoring of swinging, sliding or removable safety guards, which keep personnel safe from dangerous areas. The Carlo Gavazzi MC36C Series of magnetically-coded REED safety magnetic sensors are the ideal solution to monitor the position of sliding, hinged and removable safety guards, especially in dirty and dusty environments. Thanks to their wide actuation range, the MC36C magnetic sensors are ideally suited for use in applications where great tolerances are required, such as with safety gates or doors which are imprecisely aligned.

CARLO GAVAZZI  Multi-voltage CA30CLN12M Series Capacitive Sensor with Relay and Optional Time Delay Output available from Sords Electic. These sensors provide reliable detection of solid, fluid or granulated substances and are equipped with a two amp SPDT relay output, with a time delay of up to ten minutes. This self-contained solution assures a robust output and sensing flexibility.

The Carlo Gavazzi  CA30CLN12M Series is constructed in a threaded M30 housing, for simplified mounting ease. The back of the sensor features up to two IP67 integrated adjustment potentiometers for adjusting the sensing distance and an optional potentiometer for the time delay. The adjustable time delays available include: On-Delay or Off-Delay.

This sensor series is specifically designed for feeding systems and silo applications in the agricultural market, but can be used in most industrial applications.
